Ingredients of Sooji Appam

  • 1/2 Cup Sooji (semolina)
  • 1/2 cup Poha
  • 1/2 cup Curd
  • Water to make the batter thin
  • 1/2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Fruit salt

How to Make Sooji Appam

1. You need to first blend rava and poha together.
2. Then mix it with curd, water, sugar and salt according to taste.
3. Fold these together until they combine.
4. Then add fruit salt and whisk the appam batter till a smooth consistency.
5. Pour a ladle full of this batter on a pan and cook till it is lightly brown.
6. Serve along with your favourite curry and relish!
