OATS ROTI HEALTHY RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

– 1/2 CUP OATS

– 1 CUP WHEAT FLOUR

– SALT AS REQUIRED

– WATER AS REQUIRED

– 2 TABLESPOONS GHEE

– 2 TABLESPOONS REFINED OIL

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Step 1To make these hearty and healthy chapatis, grind the oats in a food processor till they turn into a coarse powdered flour.

  • Step 2Now, take a large bowl and put wheat flour, ground oat flour, salt, and ghee in it. These are the ingredients required to prepare the dough for these chapatis.

  • Step 3Start kneading the dough by gradually adding water as required. Prepare a well kneaded and soft dough. Cover the bowl with a lid or wet cloth and keep aside for around 20 minutes.

  • Step 4Once the dough is ready, divide the dough into small balls. It will make for almost 10 balls of equal size. Roll the balls with a rolling pin into medium-sized circles.

  • Step 5After that, put a tawa or pan on medium flame and let it heat.

  • Step 6Put a rolled dough circle on the tawa and cook the chapati from both sides. Apply a little oil for it to turn golden brown.

  • Step 7Once all the dough discs are cooked, serve the oats chapatis hot with a yummy vegetable or meat dish.
